What Anthony Watched
Night of the Creeps – My god what a fun movie! Fred Dekker is a fucking master. The perfect amount of camp for my taste.I will never not love Tom Atkins. “Thrill me!” 8/10
Deadtime Stories – This was a real stinker. Fun practical FX don’t save this boring turn. Poor writing and sloppy execution allowed me to forgo the final 20 minutes. 3/10
The Battery – Hands down the most realistic interpretation of a zombie apocalypse. This contains a 15 minute close-up continuous shot of a single character. I suggest you watch this immediately if you haven’t seen it. 8/10
The Stuff – Gonna piss a bunch of people off, but this is a real piece of shit. I just watched it for the first time so I have no nostalgia attached to it. It’s real dumb. Real boring. And a real let down. 2/10
Psycho II – A perfect rebound from THE STUFF. I may possibly like this better than the first one. I just wanted to crawl inside my TV and give Anthony Perkins a big hug. This also contains two absolutely perfect kills. 8/10

The House of the Devil
“Cute and innocent Samantha, a college student who’s just trying to make it on her own, secures her first apartment from the mom from E.T. and CUJO. She’s then tasked with coming up with the first month’s rent; the only problem is she doesn’t even have $100 to her name. She responds to a bulletin board ad for a babysitter, but when she eventually shows up at the house she finds out that The Ripper from LAST ACTION HERO and Calamity Jane from DEATH RACE 2000 want her to watch the elderly mother instead. Samantha is reassured ‘Mom’ won’t need anything, so she can just order pizza and hang out till a little after midnight when the Ulman’s return. The creeps start to crawl as weird noises abound, and Samantha finds herself the center of attention. Can Tom Noonan really be The Bad Guy without prosthetics? Will AJ Bowen ever get to be a good guy? Enter THE HOUSE OF THE DEVIL to find out!”
